So, you know, you've been covering the Royal Family for 13 years or so. I always like to start these Untold Story podcast by just

helping people understand you a little bit. You know, where are you from? Where did you grow up?

And how did you end up doing this? How did this end up as your beat? Yeah, it's interesting.

I always wanted to be a journalist ever since I was a kid. I grew up in Oxford in the English

countryside with sort of like

grand dreams of one day working in sort of like mainstream news or for an entertainment news outlet

and that was very much the path that I went on working in entertainment magazines particularly for the US media

I was an editor at an American publication for about a decade.

And it was through that time that I realized how big a part of the story
