Hey there, listeners. Welcome to horror movie club. The show are two dudes who are not quite nerds, but not quite nubes. Choose a horror movie each week to rate and review. I'm Brian. I'm on the phone with Oshfin, and today we are discussing The Silence of the Lambs from 1991, directed by Jonathan Demi, written by Ted Talley, based on the 1988 novel by Thomas Harris, starring Jody Foster, Anthony Hopkins, Scott Glenn, and Ted Levine.

And in this film, an FBI trainee is assigned to question an imprisoned cannibalistic serial

killer in the hopes that he will lead them to the notorious and still-at-large serial killer known as Buffalo Bill.

If you're new to the show, we are going to talk about some spoiler-free background information on this movie for the first 15 or 20 minutes or so.

But after that, we are going to move into spoiler territory, and our little

fake break followed by some transition music is how you know that it's time to duck out

and go see this movie if you haven't. Ashvin, you've seen this movie before, but had it been

a while? Yeah, I think it'd been a long time. And watching it, it kind of felt like I might not have ever seen it beginning to end.

Like every scene felt familiar, but seeing it all, like, kind of put together.

Yeah, it just kind of felt like I was watching it for the first time.

but I do think I've also seen it quite a few times, like partially.
