Dasha, you spoke to the president of the United States on the phone last night.

How is Donald Trump doing?

And what is he saying to you about the shutdown?

Yeah, I spoke to him around 9 o'clock last night,

and he is feeling bullish on how Republicans are going to come out of this thing. I asked him if he's

concerned at all that Republicans might be blamed for the shutdown. And he said, no, he said, I don't

worry about that. He told me that, quote, people are smart and see what's happening, saying the Democrats are, quote, very deranged people. He feels like this is something that they're going to win on in the court of public opinion, frankly. I asked him if he could share anything about the meeting. He went on about not wanting to

give illegal aliens health care, saying that nobody can afford that. Of course, that's not what

Democrats are asking for. They're asking for the extension of Obamacare tax credits to keep

premiums down for the American people as one of the things that they are

pushing for with this deal. I asked him if that's something he would consider. He didn't

really answer that question. He really focused on the idea that Democrats are trying to give

illegal aliens health care. Yeah, the meeting, of course, you're referring to between Trump

and the Democrat
