Hey who's ready to get into God's word? Come on. Let's turn in our Bibles now to

Psalm chapter 23. If you're just joining us we're really glad to have you. Thanks for

being with us. We're in a series of messages where we're looking at the 23rd Psalm and amazing passage of

scripture and we're just taking some time before we get into summer to really get our

soul straight. The series of messages is called Rock and Soul because we believe

that if we can tap into through the name of Jesus some inner tranquility, it will bring us

outer stability no matter what we're going through here in this life

and we're just taking it simple a week a verse at a time one a week and there's six

verses and so the six weeks of the series is

that's kind of your syllabus and this is the third week of the series so we're in

verse three and we're starting each week by saying the Psalm together.

And we're gonna put it on the screens for you,

so if you're new, we can all say it in the same translation.

David wrote, he said, the Lord, let's say it out loud together.

The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want he makes me to lie down in green pastures.

He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul.

my soul.

He leads me in the paths of righteousness,

for his namesake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for you are

with me your rod and your staff they comfort me you prepare a table before me in the presence of my

enemies you annoy my head with oil my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.
