Let's open together to the book of Psalms, the 23rd chapter.

We're continuing in a series of messages that we've called Rock and Soul.

We want to Rock and Soul all night and party every day.

That's what we're doing in Psalm 23. And we're doing in Psalm 23 and we're spending six weeks in this wonderful

passage of scripture Psalm 23 the series is called Rock and Soul and we're making our way through it one verse at a time.

So just so you know the outline,

if you didn't come last week, we studied verse one

that said, the Lord is my shepherd I shall not want.

We spent the whole weekend there,

and we're going to be this whole

week in verse two and if you can guess it will be in verse three next week and

you're like where are we going to be on week six we're probably going to be

I'm not sure but I think we're going to be on week six. We're probably going to be the I'm not sure but I think we're going

be on verse six and you can read ahead if you want and kind of make your heart

kind of steeped in it before you get here each week and that would be cool but I just have so just fired up over what

God's been showing me so many fresh things in a well-traveled, well-worn passage of

scripture that is just chock full of comfort and challenge and

things that God wants to say to us and I'm just thrilled over what God is going to

put into our lives going into summer into a brand new season.

So, Psalm 23, we're going to begin each week by reading it out loud

and we always put the verses on the screen for anybody who is new or doesn't have a Bible or just you like reading a giant Bible
