One of my favorite aspects of covering the many incredible Canadian stories I have is the opportunity to share them with new minds that now get to consider them for the first time. missing Mora Murray podcast. For tonight's episode I've invited Justin and

Aaron the hosts of the incredibly popular podcast, Generation

Y, to join me for a discussion on all things Shag Harbor.

To make the conversation even more special, I shared with them a recording I'm very excited about.

Just after production of part one of the series, I was fortunate to meet with the man that saw the entire thing play out.

You may remember his name from the prior episode. Lifelong

Shag Harbor resident Lori Wichens followed the object in his car while it was in

the air. He witnessed it crash into the water and he made the first call to the authorities

reporting a downed aircraft. After Lori met with the first responders on the shore

of Shag Harbor, he also accompanied search and rescue as they traveled to the scene of the crash by boat

and he was one of the few that encountered the odd foam that was bubbling on the

surface of the dark waters. In true Canadian fashion I met with Lori

Wichens at a local Tim Horton's coffee shop and asked him to share his memory of the events of that night with me.

During my conversation with Aaron and Justin, he'll hear what he had to say.
