| 1:22.0 | So today what I'm going to talk about is positive self talk because the most important conversations that you'll ever have in your entire life are the things and the conversations that happen between yourself and only yourself. |
| 1:36.0 | So what do I mean by that? I mean that we all talk to ourselves. It's natural. You're not crazy. I hope you're not crazy. If you do talk to yourself, it's okay. |
| 1:46.0 | If you hear multiple people talking in your head, there's probably something that you want to get checked out in that sense. |
| 1:53.0 | But how often do we talk to ourselves and talk ourselves out of good ideas or fun ideas, something that would be fun or something that would put us out of our comfort zone. |
| 2:03.0 | But we just want to stay in our comfort zone and not have the opportunity to possibly fail. |
| 2:09.0 | So when you talk to yourself, you have to talk to yourself. You've heard me say this over and over again if you listen to some of my episodes. |
| 2:16.0 | You have to talk to yourself the way you would speak to someone that you love and you can't beat yourself up for things. |
| 2:23.0 | I know myself. This was a really, really hard thing to overcome is to stop beating myself up for failures because I think that I just expected so much of myself because I held myself to a really high standard. |
| 2:35.0 | If you're in the same situation, I want to try to help you out through this and take you along the process that I had to go through in order to try to get better. |
| 2:44.0 | So when you talk to yourself, you want to talk to yourself the way that's like I said, you would talk to someone that you love. |
| 2:50.0 | You wouldn't hang out with someone who talks to you the way you talk to yourself. |
| 2:55.0 | You'd be like, screw this person. This person is a Debbie Downer. There's no possible way I want to hang out with this person. |
