This week I finished up the second of three cleanup edits on Dreamlander, which was a yay

hooray for a number of reasons.

The chief among them being of course the fact that what author isn't happy to finish

an edit.

My wrists weren't liking the stress from inputting the corrections, so I'm also glad to move

on from that.

I'm now entering the read aloud typoowed typo hunting, killing, smashing round.

You've probably heard me mention before that I use my Kindle's read-al-allowed feature to read

my manuscript back to me, but it's worth repeating again.

I don't know any better way to find those sneaky typos that our eyes seem to want to pass

right over.

Having an objective voice read to me as I read along brings a whole new perspective to my work, and

bonus points keeps me from getting horse.

The fine line between insulting and bewildering readers.
