Have you ever wondered about the political views of your favorite fashion bloggers on Instagram? Do they lean mostly to the left, or are there more conservative influencers than we are made to believe?
If 100% of your income relied on your online presence, would you self-silence your political beliefs to keep the peace and support your family? Or would you risk it all to make a stand?
This week on 'The Spillover’, Alex Clark chats with fashion blogger Jess Fay to spill the tea on the secret lives of fashion influencers and mommy bloggers. Jess gets vulnerable, discussing being a wife to a Green Beret and mother of three, and how brands dropped her for speaking out against Marxist groups like Black Lives Matter. Now, Jess is encouraging other mega IG influencers to find the courage to speak out about their own (secretly held) conservative beliefs, despite the backlash they could get from followers and sponsors.
