Knowing you are a child of God, knowing you are exactly where you are meant to be settle

into God. Let God settle into you this presence, settle into your bones of St. Theresa. She said that gives your soul the freedom to sing, to praise, to dance. There's a celebration going on within you a quiet one. You don't have to move a muscle to express this joy.

This is how you must be when you're operating today, seemingly moving around in the world. I had someone write to me who has a meeting with their boss, like end of year meeting and it's been a while since they've met with their boss and fear comes up,

anxiety comes up that primal fear of survival comes up, it's natural.

That is what the situation calls for. It could not be any other way. You don't beat yourself up for feeling nervous in moments like that.

Mostly because it's not you that's feeling nervous. It's that body that's feeling

nervous. What else is here here you could ask while you're looking

at your boss or at that co-worker at that team member that discomfort is there, it's there fully, but what else is here?

To begin to fill that love even if only faintly, that peace that Jesus left us, you fill it, and you seem to hold it, but really you settle into it.

You realize that it has settled upon you

and you can be there in a new way. You can be in that room,

as the room, as the space that's holding that body you think you are and the one it's looking

at, the one that's scaring it a little bit on some level.

Alternatively you can see that other one as God appearing as boss, as coworker, as team member, the one you don't like a lot.

Can you see God?
