Start with what is a nervous system medicine practitioner and how did your personal story

sort of lead you to the work you do now and the book that you wrote?

Yeah, that's a good question.

So currently, me and my co-author and co-founder of my company, Somia,

and our program that teaches people how to heal on top of the book,

we'd probably be the only self-identified nervous system medicine practitioners.

And the reason why we've created that language is that the work that we do is we help

people heal from what are considered conventionally to be management-only kinds of

syndromes and conditions, whether that be chronic pain, fibromyalgia, CFS, chronic fatigue syndrome,

IBS, CBO, certain kinds of allergies, there's a whole spectrum, pot, postural or static

cardiac cardiac cardiac cardiac cardiac cardiac syndrome, long COVID Lyme. All of these things, all have their actual origin. They're all physiologically real.

People are in real pain. People have real gut dysbiosis and dysfunction. But the solution is not

through treating the physiology. The solution is in treating the nervous system in the neurology.

And that at the very heart of it is two things happen. People that, whether they're aware of it

or not, who have a history of trauma, whether that's big T or little T, all right, whether it was
