Summary
Spring has officially sprung.
Β
The birds are chirping, the plants are waking up, and the earth is on the move again. It's a beautiful time of yearβand here in the Pacific Northwest, we welcome the lifting of the cold, the retreat of the rain, and the chance to head back outside to enjoy nature's splendor and get our gardens growing.
Β
But spring's return comes at a high cost for many due to seasonal allergies.
Β
If you're one of the millions of people who suffer from seasonal allergies, stepping outside can bring so much discomfort and suffering that it hardly seems worth it. You might choose to stay inside, avoiding the warm, sunny days simply because your allergies make being outside unbearable.
Β
In this episode, we're diving into the dynamics of seasonal allergies. There's a lot to cover, so this will be a two-part series.
Β
You may just be looking for remediesβand we'll get thereβbut first, we need some context. Understanding the "why" behind seasonal allergies provides a broader perspective on what's happening and how to identify the root cause.
Β
In Part One, we'll explore the background and context of seasonal allergies, including:
-
The contributing factors behind allergies and intolerance
-
An esoteric perspective to complement physiological understanding
-
The difference between allergies and intolerances
-
What immunological load isβand how to remain asymptomatic
Β
With this foundation in place, Part Two will cover the therapeutic strategy and approach. Let's dive right in!

| 0:28.7 | We're getting back out into the garden and getting ready for another cycle with the plants. So it's |
| 0:34.4 | always a glorious time of year. We always, uh, really appreciate, |
| 0:38.3 | especially here where I live in the Pacific Northwest to see, uh, some of the cold lifting up, |
| 0:42.9 | the rain starting to disperse a little bit and getting back outside to enjoy the splendor of |
| 0:49.9 | nature, the wonders of the forest, get out, do some hiking, get up into the mountains, |

| 1:01.0 | going outside comes with a price sometimes in the spring season or summertime. And that is |
| 1:07.8 | seasonal allergies. Man, what a bummer to have going outside lead to such great discomfort and suffering to the point where some people just aren't even willing to pay the price and won't go outside and stay indoors during this time of year because their seasonal allergies are so bad. |
| 1:26.5 | It's just intolerable to even go outside |
