Summary

Peter starts the podcast with his thoughts on the New England Patriots' awful start to the 2024 season and why Bill Belichick's omnipresent media presence makes it all the more magnified. Then, filmmaker Neil Zender joins the podcast to discuss his new film, "The Duke: The Giant Life of Wellington Mara." Described by Michael Strahan as "The Forrest Gump" of NFL history, Mara lived a football life that can't be matched. Peter and Neil nerd out on the "The Duke," and discuss one of the most important people in sports history.

1:52.7

Pete Alonzo, first baseman from the Mets, is hanging at the table next to us.

1:56.3

The table next to him is one of my favorite actors and comedians of all time, David Spade, who was

hanging at the restaurant. And then in the back with security, and he walked out and signed

a few autographs to this thing was Nick Cannon, who was also in the spot. So all these people

are in the spot. And at some point, with all the buzz in the air of this

great table, we started talking about Belichick. And Amandola and Edelman have their stories.
