What's up, everybody? Welcome to The Season. I'm Peter Schrager. I'm joined by my friend

and producer slash wingman on this thing, Mr. Aaron Wong Kaufman, who seems to have a pep in his

step right now because Aaron's team, the Bills, went from being the 11 seed a few months ago to now sitting pretty

in the two spot of the AFC playoffs, getting a T.J. Watless Steelers coming in, having a home game

the following week if they win that one. Aaron, if I told you before the season started and all

the drama and everything, that you'd be the two seat in the AFC. Would you sign? Oh, yeah. I mean, I would happily accept that. There was a time, I'm sure, like, on this show, you know, that I was downtrodden and was like, we're not going to make it. We're, we're at mess. We're not even going to be in the playoff race. Like, e-orring it up over here. And here we are. Yeah. I feel like we could go through the files. And I was actually really bullish after a loss. When they lost to the Eagles, I came on here and I was like, there's actually a path. If they get their crap together during the by week that they can do this, they haven't lost since.'t been pretty i mean again i told you last like this isn't like this red hot team coming in it has not been pretty they threw two red zone turnovers they barely won last week but everyone else lost also so here we are the two seed bills and whether or not it was pretty or not there's no no standings for aesthetics, and they're where they are.

They're likely hosting Patrick Mahomes in the second round of the playoffs, and that's something you would have signed up for before this season.

Let's move right along. The matchups are great, but if you listen to this podcast, you're in the coaching, hiring, and firing world.

He has a head start on all of these coaches.

Due to the NFL's Rooney Rule and the way things have been shaken out

during the competition committee this past year,

no coach currently with an NFL job,

whether it be head coach or a coordinator, could interview for any other jobs until January 21st,

which is after the divisional round of the playoffs. Harbaugh, however, he's exempt from that. So he

gets first dibs on this. Now, every team is going to have to go through the Rooney Rule. You can't just meet Harbaugh and hire him. You have to meet at least, you know, fit those requirements, meet minority candidates, meet people of color. And then you can make your decision. But Harbaugh, hypothetically speaking, Aaron, this week, he can knock them all out. First impression is

important. He can say, here's who my staff is. Let's get this thing going. And a team almost,

I guess, by a formality, we'll meet with other candidates. And I guess that's not what the NFL is
