continuing with the series called Growing in the Seasons of Life. And in these messages, Rick's going

Man, Rick is really answering a lot of my questions in this great series, and here's what he

has to say with the final part of a message called the Season of Parenting.

Number five, kids need celebration.

Celebration.

And what I'm saying here, that's just a fancy word for fun.

Families ought to have fun.

The home should be a place to play.

Really.

And this is a major fault in many, many homes where the parents are basically good parents, they're watching out for

their kids, but you know what? You just don't have enough fun at home. You don't. You know why?

You're too busy. And you come home with your to-do list after it works over, and all that stuff's

got to be done, and you just don't have time for fun

now do you endure your kids or do you enjoy them kids need celebration look at this verse

people ought to enjoy every day of their lives notice it says every day people ought to enjoy

every day of their lives. Notice it says every day. People ought to enjoy every day of their lives

no matter how long they live. Families ought to be fun. They really ought to be fun. You know,

I have to be honest with you, my kids couldn't care less that I've written four books.

It's no big deal to them.

And they are not impressed that I've spoken all around the world and done seminars and spoken to crowds as many as 50,000 people in the Superdome.
