with the series called Growing in the Seasons of Life. And in these messages, Rick's going to share

biblical wisdom that you need to live your best life no matter what stage you're in.

All right, friends, let's not wait any longer.

Here's part one of a message called the season of parenting.

Now you may never have thought of parenting as being a season,

but really it is because you're not going to have your kids forever at home.

Isn't amazing how quickly our kids grow up?

I mean, yesterday I was putting Amy in a car seat.

Today she's asking for the car keys.

And they just grow up so fast.

Now, as parents, every one of us really, we we want we want to be good parents and we want to have strong

families but the fact is the pace that we live and the constant pressures of our career to always

produce more often put our families at risk. Would you agree with that?

Is it possible to achieve success and build a healthy family at the same time?

Is it possible to raise faithful kids in our world today? Well this morning we're going to look at seven things that kids need most. You may be saying, well, I'm not a parent. Well, I don't care if you're a parent or not, because there are children in your life. They may be nieces or nephews. They may be neighbor kids, and so you really need this, and I hope you'll write this down whether you're a parent or not. You say, Rick, where'd you get these seven things? Well, not out of some current fad book, but out of the

greatest textbook ever written on parenting, God's Word, the Bible. And these seven things

are the seven things that God does to you as the Heavenly Father. And he wants you to do those seven things

to the people that you see in your life.

Not just children, but the other people around you.

Now this morning, with these seven,

we don't have time to focus on every single one of them,
