For most of us listening, the last six months have passed by uneventfully, with our days and weeks lost to the grind of our work, our chores, and other forgettable tasks. But of course there are the adventurous among us who've embarked on an exciting new journey

and I'm sure some others have met some of life's milestones

during that period. If that's you, congratulations on your wedding, birth of your

child, retirement, etc. But sadly and tragically there is at least one family among us who have spent

the last six months enduring a situation that's quite simply unimaginable.

The story I'll share tonight surrounds a 20 year old

Alberta man's decision to step out of his comfort zone and embark on an

adventure with a close friend. I'm not talking about something risky or dangerous.

Their plan was quite simple really. Take a year off school and spend the winter in the

mountains of British Columbia working at one of Canada's most beautiful ski resorts.

But as it turns out, something went wrong.

What no one knows exactly, but what we do know is that his family, his friends, and an army of big-hearted

volunteers have been searching tirelessly hoping to find him or any trace of a trail he may have left after he was last

seen leaving a host party on the early morning hours of February 17th. Tonight

our topic will be the life, the disappearance, and the search for Ryan Stuka.

Stuka was last seen in the early morning hours of Saturday, February 17th after a house party on Burfield Drive.

It's believed that he left the party to walk home, just a short distance away, around

2-10 in the morning.
