My name is Jeff Krasno.

My guest today is none other than the British biologist and author Rupert Sheldrake,

known for his theory of morphic resonance and recently thrust into the limelight in connection

with his study of telepathy. So in early May of this year, we both had the privilege of

attending the Vivo Barefoot Grounded Pilgrim Retreat,

an extraordinary gathering hosted at the Broughton Sanctuary in the hinterlands of Northern England.

This estate dates back to 1097.

While us pilgrims spent most of the time visiting sacred sites and connecting with nature and each other,

I couldn't pass up the opportunity to record a conversation with Rupert,

which we got to have in a beautiful old ancient library filled with books hundreds of years old.

Rupert shares how his journey into telepathy began with Sir Rudolph Peters,

a distinguished scientist whose studies of a nonverbal autistic child and his mother,

opened Rupert's mind to new possibilities.

Through his own experiments, Rupert has spent decades fearlessly exploring the mysteries of consciousness and telepathy.

We discussed the limits of materialism, the emergence of the study of consciousness, and how science and spirituality might converge to offer a more holistic, non-dualistic approach to understanding life.
