We tend to favor a narcissist. If you look at who becomes a CEO and you compare multiple

candidates, the more a narcissist a candidate usually gets the job. In elections, too, the

relatively higher score a narcissist in an election is more likely to get the votes.

That's Adam Grant, an organizational psychologist and star professor at Warden Business School.

He's also a New York Times best-selling author three times over. I speak with him about

the qualities of a leader, the pitfalls of charisma, and what makes an organization run well.

Whether that organization is a company, a district attorney's office, or say, a presidential

administration. This has to be one of my favorite conversations of the past year, and I wanted

to bring it back as the year ends. One note, we take this originally in April, and Adam

refers to John Kelly's challenges as Chief of Staff to Donald Trump. While Kelly's

time in that role has come to an end, Adam's wisdom still stands. Maybe the next Chief of
