All right, howdy, howdy, howdy. Village Church Family, my name is Travis Young,

and I'm one of your church planters in residency.

And yeah, what an exciting thing to be a part of this church family

as we seek to plant frontier church

on the far west side of Fort Worth in Alito, Texas.

The Lord has opened us the door

to go into the Walsh Ranch community where thousands of homes have been built,

where there's not an existing church for about five or six miles.

So we're excited about that work and we have an interest meeting at 2 p.m. today in room

and you can learn all about what the Lord is doing there.

All right, we're going to read from Jonah chapter 4 today, the whole thing.

So follow with me.

But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was angry, and he prayed to the Lord and said oh Lord is not

this what I said when I was yet in my country that is why I made haste to flee to Tarsish.

For I knew that you are a gracious God and merciful,

slow to anger and abounding and steadfast love

and relenting from disaster.

Therefore now, O Lord, please take my life from me.
