Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to our presentation, the saga of Susie, the Sousie, today we will share

with you in words and song, what it used to be like, what happened, and what it's like

now for a person you all know, Susie, the Sousie, actually our play is about the Susie and

each of us, the person who dreams and tries, laughs and cries, and struggles daily with the

disease of alcoholism, so just let yourself relax and remember, go back to a time when

your life was simple, or at least less complicated, a time when there were no hassles with

hangovers and hadn't bottles, or even sponsors, and the 12 steps.

Once upon a time, there was a time where we used to raise at the last door.

Remember how we laughed away the hours, and dreamed of all the great things we would do.

Those were the things, my friends, we thought they'd never hurt, we'd say we'd cry,

In the beginning, drinking was indeed fun for Susie.

She soon found that alcohol gave her a kind of freedom and changed her personality.

Her style, her whole image, under the influence,

she could become any kind of woman she wanted to be or thought others wanted her to be.

Love her dress, she's got lots of river, she's got lots of clothes, everybody knows, everybody allows she got her name.
