who wanted to hear the story of The last Tsar and his family.

Hi, Eliana, this one's for you.

When I received the story request from Eliana, I spent some time thinking through the events I

would be sharing with you in this episode I thought about how hard it is

sometimes to find the words to well to tell a history story truthfully

without making you all so sad that you might want to cry.

And honestly, I personally have never been able to read a book

or watch a movie or even read an article

in a historical journal about the last czar and his family without being

sad enough to cry and if you want to cry that's fine but I just wanted you to know that these stories make me sad too.

That's just the way some true stories are, isn't it? They're just super sad. But you know, I think it's important for us to hear

sad stories sometimes. I know that sounds kind of strange, so let me explain.

Hearing sad stories sometimes helps us to be more sympathetic to those around us,

and it reminds us that life on this earth is well sometimes guys

it's just it's just hard and it's sad for everyone who lives here.

Before we begin our story, I think it would be a great idea to go grab your globe or world map and

find the country of Russia because that is where our story takes
