0:38.2	here's today's. Recently a reader emailed me and suggested a book called Living the Question, The Wisdom of Progressive
0:56.6	Christianity. With Progressive Christianity being my main topic of research, I was excited to learn
1:02.4	that it's the first and only
1:03.7	comprehensive survey on progressive Christianity and it's written by
1:07.6	progressive Christians. I downloaded it to my Kindle immediately and dove right in.
1:12.2	I was not the least bit surprised that the book
1:15.3	began with the idea that spiritual maturity requires one to embrace one of the ironclad
1:21.1	progressive Christian dogmas.
1:23.4	Questions are way more important than answers.
1:26.8	Then, ironically, an entire chapter
1:28.9	was devoted to giving the definitive answer,
1:31.8	in the affirmative, to the question of whether or not the
1:34.4	creation accounts in Genesis 1 and 2 contradict each other. This is an old skeptical
1:41.2	claim that progressive Christians have latched onto, but it's worth discussing because it could be a stumbling block to some Christians who haven't thought about it before.
