important. So this is the third one of these things that I'm doing and so far

people encourage me are still encouraging me to do them. I still don't feel

quite natural about it. It's very it makes you very self-conscious and but I

appreciate the support and the encouragement and maybe I'll get better at it.

So it's been kind of a crazy week. You know I kind of feel weirdly blessed. It's

sort of like a I don't know like the Sartre car in Dune or in that movie Hannah where

the girl's weight raised in the wild to learn how to be a super assassin or I don't

know karate kid where you know he thinks that he's just being told to wax the

fence and or wax the car wax on wax off and paint the fence and all of that

stuff and then it turns out that he was actually learning meaningful skills. I've

spent as listeners and readers of mine know you know big chunks of the last couple

decades sort of like Howard Hughes with Kleenex boxes on my feet in my

basement working on books and columns and quote unquote news letters and you know

my my missing therapy is somewhat misunderstood but I'm pretty good at

social distancing and so you know I was writing G-files in the front seat of

my car smoking cigars years ago and now it looks like I'm dutifully socially

distancing when in fact that's just sort of who I am I kind of feel like I was
