Deep in the woods of an extensive forest south of Nunspeat Netherlands, there resides a park with the remains of a house with a very, very dark and disturbing history.

In 1895, Frank Willem Van Vloten of Dutch purchased 360 acres of land and founded the company, Neu Nanspeet, with his brother Willem.

Van Vloten cultivated the land.

He planted trees and crops and brought

many different types of animals, including pigs, cows, horses, chickens, ducks, turkeys, and peacocks

onto the property. And in 1906, the first stone was laid of a round villa, which would become known

as Het Ronda Hughes, or the Roundhouse. The roundhouse had three floors and a flat roof.

A balcony surrounded it, and on the third floor, the gallery received daylight through a

colored glass dome on the roof. It looked like any other beautiful house. But the truth was that

the house was surrounded by conspiracies and rumors, allegations of occultism, satanism, orgies, and the

like encased in its round walls, and in the park where its remains lie today.
