We'll go over some common tips and advice from experts.

It's important to remember that in some cases, professional help,

or at least advice, might be needed. This isn't my area of expertise, and the channel's success with it

is mostly trial and error. First, we're going to read parts of the message that prompted this.

I find myself unable to comprehend how to help someone with deeply entrenched conspiracy beliefs see reason.

I have made numerous attempts to present them with facts and evidence, but cognitive dissonance invariably takes hold,

and I lose the argument. What follows may seem incredibly difficult to believe. So please,

brace yourself. I have people in my life who subscribe to conspiracy theories, and their convictions

are intense to say the least.

Their beliefs are highly unconventional and include a range of extraordinary claims such as.

And then it lists a bunch of conspiracy theories, ranging from lizard people theories to the earth being flat, to election

stuff, to vaccination stuff, and it goes on and on. And then it continues. Due to the intensity

of these beliefs, I have felt compelled to conceal my political affiliation when interacting

with them, whether it's at the local, state, county, or federal level. I have had to lie about

whom I vote for. If I were to disclose that I voted for Democratic candidates or support Joe Biden,

they have said they would disown me.

To be clear, I vote Democrat in every election.
