Today is July 10th, and we're going through a list of questions, mostly from Patreon, but from

emails and comments too. This is mostly a lighthearted episode, just providing a little break from the news.

But before we get started with that, I want to talk about something real quick.

A lot of people brought up Life Straw when talking about the floodwaters.

Life straw is great at a lot of things, but most of their products don't remove chemicals.

They do great at bacteria and parasites, but not so much chemicals.

Flood waters are a whole different level of contaminated.

Just think about all the chemicals in your car.

There's gas, oil, anifreeze, break fluid, etc. When there's a flood, those types of chemicals end up in the water. Or think about the average garage that gets flooded. There's pesticides, gas, cleansers, it's just all bad.

Water filters are like gas mass filters.

They have specific uses.

There aren't a lot of great portable options for cleaning floodwaters.

So if this is a concern to you, definitely read up on the various options because there

are a bunch of options and there's too many variations of conditions for of options to

effectively go over.

And what's the best option for me?

Won't be the best option for you necessarily.
