It's Mississippi State's athletic year has come to an end.

Mississippi State falls last night in a heartbreaking fashion to Louisville 4 to 3.

We'll get in and break the ball game down.

We'll kind of look ahead.

Take a look back. We'll just kind of wrap up the whole season here. Very, very difficult

night last night. It looked like State was in a very good position. You get six innings and JT again,

six zeros, despite him not having his best stuff.

He gives you the effort you needed.

Bullpen simply couldn't hold it.

Hold the lead.

Mississippi State offense, had some opportunities, up three nothing, had a chance to put the game away, just couldn't come through there.

And the season's over.

And here's the thing, and I had this discussion with Dave Murray last night.

Only one team's going to win the final game.

And one day that's going to be us.

But it wasn't this year.

And many of us, including myself, thought we had a really good chance to get to that point.

And then we lose that ball, give him to Vanderbilt.

In many respects, I think Vanderbilt might have beat us twice.

I think the, you know, maybe the disappointment of losing to Vanderbilt and then facing the

darning task of having to play them twice perhaps in the back of our minds.
