Yes, this week it's about the N word that everyone refuses to say in the media

neoliberalism. Cancelled by corporate canceled culture since 1996 which explains why we are

completely listener supported and why I am your bitter blind broke gap-tooth

radio show live streaming and podcast host Chuck Mertz.

This is hell, look, we all know Uber sucks, or does it?

A lot of jobs were lost due to the financial collapse of 2008 and

Uber is a convenient alternative for those who are suddenly unemployed and

desperate. Many are grateful that Uber or other apps within the

gig economy were there for them when their regular employment no longer was.

But ask many of those same Uber drivers what they thought of

their experience driving once they've left the platform and found a more

traditional job and they will likely but not always express a sigh of relief for leaving behind the poor pay and work conditions and the even worse benefits.

Sure they may show their appreciation for Uber being there for them in a time of need.

But the fact that Uber benefits from such desperation tells you something not only about the

ride sharing platform, but the gig economy more generally.
