So this is a hot topic in mountain biking, or at least it has been for a few years now.

We've reviewed some Enduro bikes and, you know, I've talked about it in reference to a number of other topics. But

this time we wanted to really focus in on it and like give sort of the history of Enduro and

sort of how it's influencing mountain biking throughout right now.

So let's start off by asking, what does Enduro mean?

And where does that term even come from? So from the best info I could find, it seems like it comes from Enduro Moto Racing,

which is a somewhat similar format and started in France somewhere around 2003 with some of the first

some of the first races that Fred Glow and other folks were putting on the tribe sports group

they essentially wanted to create a race that was similar to their weekly rides where they

go out with friends and climb and then see how fast they can go downhill. Yeah. And you're talking

about the Moto guys were doing this. They were both Moto and mountain bike racers, but they

were interested in creating this mountain bike event. So Fred and some other folks in Southeast
