here, Jeff. Yeah, so let's get started with how you got started. How'd you get into mountain biking?

That's a good question. As a kid, I always wanted to literally ride a dirt bike. My neighbor had some old XR 400 or something and built jumps and as the school bus would drive by his house. I would always see him and he sent it pretty good. So that was like, man, I want to do that. And the closest I could get to that was taking my

sister's bike at the time and building jumps in the driveway and sending it. A parents always said no

to a dirt bike. And then after a while, they eventually said yes to a BMX bike. So sort of racing some

BMX and just riding dirt jumps. And I was never very good at all. And then a few years after the BMX started,

a good friend of mine took me out on a mountain bike ride on a loner bike and I had a blast. It was

super fun. That might have been 1996 or so. And I grew up right by the Soquel demonstration forest

outside of Santa Cruz. Like I could ride to it from my parents' house as a 12, 13 year old.

Nice. So yeah, I would just always, basically I started riding mountain bikes whenever it was too
