Over the past few decades, the beauty industry has grown far beyond lipstick and hair dye.

It now includes products like injections and fillers.

And the king of these is Botox.

I just got my lashes filled and now I need to go get Botox and my lip done and then I'm

going to spray tamp.

I want to share my Botox Shreddy with you guys just because it really changed my face

in a good way.

So I got it in the forehead area and then here and then in my lip.

And this is the first time I've ever gotten Botox.

It's kind of at the intersection of self image and also pop culture and also kind of just

what's happening in the zeitgeist and also the medical industry.

So it's this kind of interesting nexus of a lot of different topics.

Botox is so big that the brand name stands for the thing itself like Kleenex for tissue.

And Botox is central to a medical aesthetics industry that has grown to nearly $15 billion

a year.

But now there's a new product that could pose a real threat to Botox.

It's a Botox competitor coming into the market next year that potentially lasts longer

so could cut into this kind of semi monopoly that Botox has had for the past 20 years.
