I'm ready fucking up. It's the first day's introduction. People are used to us. John F. O'Donnell. Yeah, John F. O'Donnell. People are used to it. That's a nice thing about podcasts. You don't have to be super professional. But he's a stand-up comedian from New York now living in D.C.

0:53.6

He's also on a hilarious show called Redacted Tonight on RT America with a past guest on my show. And I think somebody who is in alternative media and stuff like that are people are a real big fan of. And that's Lee Camp, who people might know him from breaking the set with Abby Martins, which I've had Robbie on and an awesome, awesome show. And then also from a design guy's movement, which is, you know, he's been on some of Peter Joseph's work and stuff like that. So he, he's an awesome dude because he kind of is like our version of Bill Hicks at the moment, you know, and it's, and check out the show. It's on RT at 8 o'clock Friday nights. That's the only complaint I have about the show, John, is the fact that it's only on on Friday nights. But, you know, it's a hilarious show. If you're a fan of the Daily Show or, you know, the Colbury Report, check this out because it's not, I think the thing I like about your show better than those shows and I grew up watching those shows

2:00.8

and as you know as a kid you wanted to get news but you wanted some humor to it it's like easier

2:05.2

to consume information that way I even though I was a fan of those shows your show it's just like you

cut you cut right to the issues you know and you there's no bias you know obviously everybody

2:15.1

knows John Stewart you know even though he will give liberals a hard time at some points and some segments in his show, you kind of still know

2:22.0

where he stands and he won't really grill people or get into like the real stories where

2:25.3

you guys obviously seem like you have the green light to kind of go wherever it takes you.

2:29.1

So is that one thing?

2:30.5

It's very, yeah, we're, we've, uh, for my perspective, we have like an unprecedented

2:36.8

amount of, uh, creative control and ability to do what we want to do.

2:40.9

So we're going to go really deep into things.

2:43.3

Obviously, we're pretty far, uh, left of the two party system.

2:49.3

So we're not going to be an apologist for the Democratic Party

2:53.3

in any stretch to the imagination. I think in both in almost so many words, both me and Lee at

2:59.7

different times on, you know, national television have called Barack Obama a war criminal. You're

3:04.8

not really going to get that on the daily show necessarily. But just before I forget to respond to your complaint, you know, like the show's on the internet and stuff, right? Yeah, yeah. Well, actually, that's another thing I was going to mention was, yeah, it is on internet. I mean, the only reason I say it's a complaint is because that means you only have one show a week where like if you had, because I actually, that's how, that's how I watch it. I watch, I actually been trying to convince my, my girlfriend to get rid of our cable for the longest time, but she wants to watch E. Entertainment and all that other trash. But like, I watch everything on the internet now. That's the beautiful thing about today. It's like, I have our the RT app on my phone so I can watch a show on my phone I

3:44.4

have it on my tablet I have my PlayStation where I can go on my YouTube account
