The ripple fact I'm a lot of the What's up?

I'm your host, Ricky Vrandis.

I've got an awesome, awesome guest for you today.

One of my best friends growing up, Renato Lomnets.

He's also a professional basketball player.

We talk about his story from being born in Estonia and then being raised in Springfield,

Massachusetts, where the Basketball Hall of Fame is, which is where me and him met.

I think probably I was still in high school.

If not, it was soon after high school.

And so we've been friends for a long

time. We're both in our early 30s, early to mid 30s. So we've been friends for a long time. We met

playing ball and I've been friends since. And now he's traveled all over Europe and he'll get

into his story, how that happened and what led him there and all that stuff. And so we talk about

everything from current events to his personal stories, our friendships, tons of just really

interesting topics and conversations. And it's always fun to talk to, one, an old friend, but also

an old friend who's been living in Europe for a while, most of his, I would say the last

seven years or whatever it's been, he's been living in Europe.

So it's fun to get his perspective and Europeans' perspectives on what's going on in the world

and just, you know, his experiences with traveling and meeting new people and different cultures

and stuff.

So really fun conversation.
