Harris Creek, good morning. We haven't met. My name is J.P. or Jonathan Becluta and had the privilege of just taking us into God's

word today as we begin Holy Week. I'm reminded of an Easter where we went to hunt Easter eggs

at my sister's house. My oldest, Presley, was about four years old, and my sister lives on two acres, and it's a pretty

like perfect place to do an Easter egg hunt, lots of flower pots, and change in elevation

and trees and bushes and shrubbery and whatnot.

And so you've seen this scene, like Presley's there in her white Easter dress and we're there,

we're about to do some family Easter pictures and we kind of gather the kids around the garage

and we say one, two, three, go and there's eggs all spread out throughout the yard.

And I'm kind of standing near the garage and I'm about from me to Tanner to Presley, right?

So Presley's right over there and she sees a, there's a flower pot, she reaches in the

flower pot and she picks up a colored plastic egg, you know, like some purple plastic egg

or something and she puts it in her basket, but then something grabs her attention, so she looks back in the flower pot. And then she says, oh, daddy, look a cute

little snake. And then she reaches back in the flower pot. That's, I, yeah, stop!

Freeze, don't move! And I just run over there, I move her back and I look in the flower pot and there in

this terra-cotta orange flower pot at the bottom is a coiled-up copperhead.

Yeah.

Good luck next week, hunting eggs. I mean, it has scarred us this is the story re-retel

year after you right remember presley when you were gonna pick she had this weird like affinity

for reptiles at the time and she's like but it's a cute little snake daddy i'm like that thing

will kill you it's gonna at least wound daddy. I'm like, that thing will kill you. It's going to at least wound you, okay?
