I'm your host, the tight NYPD Sergeant Bill Cannon, a 27-year veteran of the NYPD.

You know, this P-Ditty trial in which he is facing some very severe charges. In fact, when you see that

term, that little acronym RICO, which stands for racketeering, influenced, corrupt organizations,

you know this case is very severe.

In fact, P. Diddy can wind up going to prison for the rest of his life.

And you know how serious this case is by the fact that since he was arrested,

he was not offered any bail whatsoever. His attorneys

tried so hard to get him released on bond, and the federal government refused to allow that.

And that was for many reasons. Some of the reasons were that some of the witnesses

in this case feared for their lives if P. Diddy was out of jail instead of being in jail

awaiting his trial. And because he has the resources, he's reportedly to be a billionaire,

he can reach out and touch these witnesses,

and he'd be more apt to do so if he was out of jail rather than in jail.

You know, over the years, Pete Diddy has been not a stranger to trouble,

not a stranger to controversy.

And some of those controversies and criminal acts are quite severe,

but yet the criminal justice system hasn't been able to lay a glove on him.

He stood trial in 1999 for a club shooting where a rapper named Shine Barrow and J-Lo was there. It was reported also when P. Diddy and his entourage fled the club into his SUV.

The police went to pull him over and three guns came flying out the window of the vehicle.

And I think that was one of the things that P. Diddy was charged with. And after a

trial, he beat the case. So money, attorneys, we've seen this. It seems that if you have
