What many of us want from God is a microwave experience.

him, but having him part and parcel of our daily reality.

And so we have walked through,

now coming to the last part of chapter three,

where we have seen how important it is for two things to happen to experience God. One is abiding and the other is loving. There must be the

vertical abiding and the horizontal loving. If one of those is missing, then the experience with God is going to be limited or

nullified.

We saw all the times he uses the word abide in chapter 3.
