Welcome to another edition of the Chipping Forecast.

What a very special episode we have for you today.

Not really.

I mean, it's no different to any other episode.

But that's the kind of thing that you feel you have to say to get the listeners' attention. But it's early Monday morning as we record this. Ludwig Ober has, oh, B'er. Elba is the way to go. Has won the Phil Collins Classic at Torrey Pines. Eddie had a solid week in South Africa. Ian won a match at the weekend, I think, as well.

My shoulder neck has gone again. So let's talk golf and stuff. Yeah. Eddie, where are you? You're still in South Africa. You're heading to Kenya tomorrow. Well, I was going to say well done.

I'm going to say well done. But I think you know that that's just a good, on the challenge tour, that's a good week.

It's not outstanding, but a top 10 is, you played, you played nicely, nice stuff. Lovely stuff.

Yeah. Thank you. I did played I played very well on my first

round and then it kind of went a little downhill from there I played quite well yesterday but I

struggled a bit with my eyes but no look on the whole given the way I've played in the past

in South Africa irrespective of whether it's a challenge tour event or a main tour event

I've always struggled down here and again you look at the leaderboard and it's full of South African players. And I think that does tell you how hard it is to compete and contend down here, again, whether it's challenged tour or deep ball tour. So I think there were some real positives. But yeah, we are still here. We're going to Kenya tomorrow. We were supposed to fly today, but our flight got cancelled. so we put it back to Tuesday so one more day here

in george and i've got to say we've had a lovely week in fancourt it's um it's a beautiful place

lovely stuff we'll come on to that a little bit more in detail but Ian Ian Carter a regular special

guest when we saw that 63 from Eddie in the first round so um if you don't know the NTT Data Pro-Am, it's like the

Dunhill Links, slightly warmer, so three different courses. And the first course, you know,

watching this, the Utanika course, I think it's named after the Utanika Mountains. Looks lovely down
