Well, on Wednesday night, we're going to go through the Bible as we do. And we're this next week

between this Wednesday and coming up this next Sunday, resurrection Sunday, we're going to,

Lord willing, finish the book of Matthew. So quite a journey. A lot of you've traveled through

this book with us. And then Matthew, the next book, we go to Mark. So it's just Matthew, Mark, Luke,

and right on through the Bible, when we get to Revelation, then we start back at Genesis. And this will be,

we're going on to pretty soon here, our third time around in the Bible. So if you stick with us for

only 13 or 15 years, you'll go through the whole Bible with us.

And it's really, you'll find that to be a special moment.

I talk to Athe Creekers a lot, you know, and I asked, when did you start coming?

And almost without exception, people are, oh, the Psalms.

Like they don't talk about dates.

They talk about what book of the Bible they joined us with, which is kind of fun.

So anyway, we're going to finish up Matthew this week.

I'd like to draw your attention to Matthew chapter 28.

It's appropriate that we're finishing up Matthew because we're here celebrating Palm Sunday, this Sunday,

and we're celebrating the resurrection, this whole week, the week of Easter

Resurrection Sunday, and we're just in that place. We just looked at Palm Sunday a few weeks

ago as we were going through Matthew, kind of did a deeper dive. And so I'd like to kind of begin

our discussion on the resurrection as that's where we are in the scriptures, the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Does the U.S. government believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ?

Well, apparently, in Greenville, South Carolina, the Department of Social Services wrote a welfare

recipient, quote, your food stamps will be stopped effective immediately because we have received

a notice that you have passed away.
