Welcome to our Wednesday's broadcast of the Gospel Truth.

This week, I've been teaching about the resurrection of Jesus, and not just dealing with the physical facts,

like I would imagine most people watching a Christian television program have heard the fact that Jesus

was crucified and buried and rose from the dead.

And man, praise God for all of that, but I've been talking about what this means to us, how it applies to us,

what the resurrection of Jesus means in our life.

And you know, this coming Sunday, we'll be celebrating the resurrection of Jesus.

And so I'm just trying to focus on how that benefits us, what differences does this make to us.

And I've already dealt with a lot of things.

We're talking out of 1 Corinthians chapter 15, and I'm now down to verse 33.

And this says, be not deceived, evil communications corrupt good manners.

Now, in context, what he's talking about is there were some people that were challenging the resurrection,

saying that there isn't going to be a resurrection, that Jesus was raised from the dead, but nobody else will.

And there was even some people who had questioned whether Jesus was raised from the dead.

The people that were called the Nostics believe that Jesus was only a spirit, that he never physically died.
