Wow folks good to be back on your feeds again.

Been a while. Yeah, pod fade, that's the word. Although, you know, despite all the crazy

shit that happened this past year, it never really felt like pod fade to me. It always

felt like, well, I guess it's going to be impossible to put out another

episode this week for like 60 weeks or so. That is not dead which can eternal lie.

The truth is though, folks, it's immense work doing a free podcast like this,

even with the awesome support of both semi-frequent

donors and regular paid subscribers that we had helping support us, covering so

much of our overhead, all of whom I'm so appreciative of and have kept track of, will not forget.

Even though we had awesome staff like Nathan, Nicky, Adam, Bo, Tom, David, and others,

with everything from art to slush to the website and a great community of people out there like you listening right now who loved our show and were involved helping.

In the end, despite all that, it turns out there was still one critical thing bottlenecking things.

And that was me, and my weird bodily neck.

My weird bottleneck beards, all of it.

More specifically, my full-time 60-hour week job that I'd started, you know, on the

not internet. I could have cloned myself, but that norm would have eventually just

dissolved into some weird, loose wash of organic tissue

...
