H.P. Lovecraft Month continues this week with an original commissioned story by Jeremiah

Tolbert called Garen and the Hound.

Jeremiah is a writer, web designer, and sometimes photographer.

He writes science fiction, fantasy, and sometimes

horror.

His work often places an emphasis on working class characters

and how genre elements impact their lives.

It's predominantly optimistic about science and is often set in the Midwest,

generally and his home state of Kansas specifically. He lives in Lawrence, Kansas with his wife and

son. As usual for H.P. Lovecraft month, our commissioned author,

Jeremiah, will give you a personal rundown on his take of the story and how it chased him down,

so to speak. Our narrator this week is Jonathan Dance. Jonathan's a writer currently working on

his next novel about the daughter of a coal miner who embarks on a journey across parallel dimensions

to find her father who disappeared under mysterious circumstances.

Jonathan lives in West Virginia with his wife, daughter, two cats, and his mountain bike.
