Summary

What happened next didn’t occur while anyone was inside. It didn’t happen during an investigation or while anyone was asking questions. It happened in the quiet space after, when the house should have been completely still.
The sounds weren’t subtle. Movement, shifting, something clearly happening inside a place that was supposed to be empty. And it wasn’t a one-time occurrence. The more time spent there, the more it became clear that whatever was in the house didn’t need anyone present to make itself known.
