But I've been talking to Jake a lot who's in Nicaragua and luckily coming home soon because I'm in Costa Rica right?

DM is a verb just so you know direct messaging me on Insta Insta. And I've got all the words! I am cool actually! I mean it is woo!

But and I say like AF! Which dancer? Yes! As fuck! I really do! Sometimes isn't it also Avacrombie? No! What?

Cindy wanted to do this! Cindy sent me this like millennial like um uh lingo thing and I was like we can't do that!

And we're gonna seem way too out of touch! On listener sent it after we were talking about millennials and one of the times and you know what I've kept it open and some of those when I'm watching TV I do um...

He'll say things like the other day! What do you say? Dope and lit! He says all the time! No dope is common! But lit! Everything is lit!

I don't like that word! I don't love lit either but I use it sometimes for fun in a story because it's cliche! But he said he's extra!

Extra! So like this guy the gym was like really grunting a lot and Greg was like he's extra! And I liked it! I was like I want to take that!

And they get my own! Man that is extra! Yeah! But like not good! It just means like beyond! Like just over the top!

Just exactly! Extra! No way too much! Yeah! Anyway that's not what this was about! So anyway Jake's been dealing with issues with his mom per usual. It's okay if you talk about this. He talks about it on the show all the time.

And I mean I'm not even gonna get into specific details about it but I also have a lot of friends. You know we all have issues with some of us more so than others with our parents or a family member.

And there are ways to like retrain that individual on how to deal with you but sometimes it works! It takes a long time and it's extremely hard and painful.

But if you shut off, like he'll engage with her right so she'll bait him and then he'll engage and it enrages him.

And I'm like Jake just tell her you're gonna pack, you love her, you don't have time for this right now. Right? And then she'll come back and then he'll send me a text and she's like I miss you whatever you're not talking to me.

He's like what do I do? I'm like reward that behavior and say I miss you too. I hope things are good. And it's literally like I hate to say I don't mean to sound like a dick but it literally is like a dog. It's like good reward. No reward. Right? It's like if they behave, if they treat you...

You're a child in a way. If they treat you the way you want to be treated, you reward that.
