Summary

In today’s episode, I sit down with Josh Zolin, CEO of Windy City Equipment Service, to talk about why even high performers feel stuck despite success. We unpack how the meaning we assign to our past quietly limits potential, fuels imposter syndrome, and creates interference through fear, separation, and the need to be right. I share how presence and ambition coexist, why non negotiable daily behaviors matter more than goals, and how surrender is really about stopping what interferes. We also explore values over outcomes, asking for help as humility, and why consistent habits remove resistance faster than motivation ever will.

They're giving a meeting that's not aligned with their potential, with their divine direction.

0:38.9

And so I work a lot on what meaning are you giving the failure, setbacks, and mistakes,

0:45.3

the defining moments, the historical relevances in your life that make you feel like an imposter,

0:50.6

that make you feel as if you're not who people think you are or as good as they think

0:55.5

you are. These are for the highest performers. And so if I can change and align the meaning of the

1:01.4

past to their divine direction, I get exponential performance results, regardless of whether it's

1:07.7

physical, mental, spiritual, whatever it is, it is the limitation of the

1:13.0

meaning of the path that holds these people back. Because the common denominator, in conflict

1:19.2

to that or contrast, I apologize to that, is that all of them have another common denominator.

1:25.9

They all limit themselves by the meaning of the past,

1:28.2

but they all have a desire that they must be what they can be. So I haven't met one of my high

1:33.4

performers, and I'm talking about world famous high performers, chairmen's of golf oil,

1:37.7

Hall of Famers, you know, musicians, Golden Globe and Oscar winners that I work with. They all have

a desire that they must be
