I think we are doing a new kind of show, like a new weekly episode as an experiment to see how it goes and to see what

the listener response is where you and I talk to each other about our lives and then we also

talk about something that I don't know that much about, which is pop culture. You know, he says he doesn't know a lot about it. And yet, I think I've gotten maybe at least a dozen texts being like, what's the deal with Taylor Swift? I don't get this whole Taylor Swift thing, sending me tweets. And like, I'm like a devout Swiftie, but like sending me tweets that I haven't even seen about Taylor Swift being like what does this mean what's happening what's going on like

news about her just like instantly like you're really like up on that at least like what confuses

you you're up on what confuses you that's right that's right so this is a way for me to be confused

and I feel like you know Mary you're kind of my sounding board on pop culture

because I feel like you know more about it than I do.

And I'm trying to decode and understand.

But there is also, I think, a generational thing happening.
