We're trying to get as many reporters as we can on the podcast.

And you had a great story

this week on a fascinating relationship between the HFC, the House Freedom Caucus, and the

NRC campaign arm. What did you find about the relationship between these two entities who have not

always seen eye to eye? Yeah, well, this is one of those interesting stories, Max, where Mika and I, one of our colleagues, initially we had set out because we had heard some

grumbling, actually, from members of the HFC who were kind of not thrilled with what NRC was or

wasn't doing to help some of their candidates. But what we actually found when we started really

digging down and talking to people who were actually really, you know, involved in both of these camps is that actually there is sort of an unusual alliance happening, an unprecedented alliance happening between the NRCC and the Freedom Caucus.

So just for a little background here, these two groups have very historically been adversaries against one

another. I think Freedom Caucus has viewed NRCC as sort of a tool of the establishment.
