Andrew, you just spent 24 hours in Canada last week with a select group of senators talking about the U.S.

Canada relationship as Donald Trump continues his crusade against Canada.

What was that experience like being in Ottawa with this codale?

You know, it was really interesting, Max, because I've been on a lot of codels with senators

before, and this one really stands out to me because it was really interesting, Max, because I've been on a lot of codels with senators before,

and this one really stands out to me because it was something of a peace mission to a bedrock ally.

So it was unusual in that respect, right?

Canada isn't usually a place that senators are going in order to sort of make peace.

But they wore friendship bracelets. They order to sort of make peace. But they wore friendship bracelets.

They tried to sort of reassure Canadians about how Americans feel about Canada. And something

else I'll note, too, is that one of the effects of Trump's trade war and his antagonistic

rhetoric against Canada is that fewer Canadians

are traveling to the United States for vacations. And four of the five senators on that

Kodal, which by the way, it was led by Senators Jean Shaheen and Kevin Kramer, both border states,

four of those five senators were from border states. And so they depend on Canadian tourism every year, especially as we head into the summer months.
