Tell us a bit about your art because I've never met anyone who does quite what you're going to do.

I call it LITHOP, literary hip-hop or literary rap and in the past I've applied it to Chaucer's Canterbury

Tales and here at the Darwin Festival I'm going to be applying it to Modern Evolutionary

biology and Charles Darwin's The Origin of Species.

So over the next 60 minutes, what are you going to treat the audience to?

Basically what I've done is research every aspect that I can find of evolutionary biology and write each of those elements

into a chapter or remix or rap song.

One biologist who saw this described it as a first year biology course summed up in an hour

in rap. So that's exactly what I'm going to be doing.

The main inspiration was from the origins of species where Charles Darwin says,

if you believe that species are mutable, if you believe evolution to be true,

express your conviction so this show is me expressing my conviction in the

truth of evolution but to help me out with that project I'm going to have to

enlist the help of of Mr Richard Dawkins who's going to launch this first song for me so check it out I can't just be expressing his conviction.
