Now coming up, shaken but not stirred, eponymous words for James Bond, but also scientists have discovered why jockeys adopt that

characteristic posture that they do in the saddle.

It's called the Martini-glass posture and apparently it makes them go 7% faster. The horse and the jockey that is

thankfully. We'll find out why shortly. Also there's scientific evidence that cats

train their human owners rather than the other way round and we'll hear why and also how the future of online

science publishing is about to change in a very big way this week.

Kat. Yeah you should have seen Chris standing on a chair earlier in the studio

demonstrating the jockey position and then falling off.

It's very funny.

Anyway, also under the microscope this week is the science of pregnancy and conception.

We'll be talking to a man who's developing a way to work out which are the best eggs to use for IVF.

We'll be hearing how stress and the emotional stage of a pregnant mother can affect the development and future intelligence and behavior of her baby.

And we'll be finding out how researchers developing a blood test to predict

whether a person undergoing IVF is likely to become pregnant through the procedure.
